Toyota Calya Online Taxi Stuck by Floods in Bandung

A Calya Toyota and driver were caught in a flood in Bandung, West Java.
According to Agus Ibo, the witness at the location said that the white Calya D 1137 AHD had the entire car submerged in water.
Seeing the driver who is also an online taxi driver still inside, residents quickly help him.
"The car was almost completely submerged and my sister hurriedly took out the driver. When I got out (the driver) it was rather difficult because of the heavy flow of sewerage," he said
This incident occurred due to heavy rains that flushed the New Village, Astanaanyar, Bandung, West Java, (11/12/18).
According to Agus Ibo, at first, the driver drove his car through the rush of water from the ditch.
"So it was heavy rain around 3:30 a.m. WIB, at that time the flood was as high as the door of the car. When it was in the middle of the road, suddenly the engine died," he said on location (11/12/2018)
Agus Ibo said that the online taxi driver was shocked when he was evacuated.
"When he was asked he claimed to be a Bandung person and lived on Jalan Sriwijaya. The name of the driver I did not know and went straight to the driver," he said.
After the driver was evacuated, said Agus, the height of the flood at the scene of the incident increased to around 1.5 meters.
From the monitoring at the location of the white Toyota Calya it was still in muddy conditions.
